Description
Death is never an easy thing to cope with. Most people are still dealing with it 20 years after their loved ones die. I’m sure you are, too. It’s like Elvis, and how a lot of people still want to believe that he’s still alive. Many of us do it and still think they’re over the death of their loved ones. You don’t want to believe they’re dead. It’s like you see someone in the market that looks like your lost one. You want to walk up to them, in aw that they’re still alive, and ask them where they’ve been hiding. Then they would tell a story about them having amnesia, or in a coma, or just in a small town to get away. I do that a lot. Image that they’re still alive. My Aunt Linda died when I was 6 years old. I am 18 now and still think of seeing her in the super market, or something. I saw the movie “Stand by me” for the first time about 6 months ago and immediately fell in love. I looked up everything about it online and found out that River Phoenix died 6 months after my Aunt Linda. I started reading biographies on him and watching all the movies he was in. I just saw “Thing called love” the other day and it was definitely one of his best. He was an amazing human being and a big peacemaker. They say, “Only the good die young”. I can second that quote. I have known too many people that have died at a young age. Maz, Ryan, & HT may you always be in my heart. That quote makes you want to be bad just so you can stay on earth a little longer. But it’s not death that is the scary thing. “Don’t be afraid of death. Be afraid of the unlived life”, they said in a movie called “Tuck Everlasting”. I like to live by the quote, “Live like you were dying”, a song sung by Tim McGraw. Death is a scary thing, but it would be a great journey. And to those of you, up there, that experienced this journey, I salute you.
