I know who you are. Don't trash me on Dana's site too. I have respect for her.

You're very welcome to the cuttings. The person was Lynda Winter, who I believe
may still be on this site. She trashed my name and she's not a genuine Dana fan.
Let me know your address, ok? Cheers!

I wish to offer my sincerest thanks to the person that posted the "Sally" show with Dana. She looked and sounded great, although I wish her hair wasn't quite so messy looking; still, it is a treat to see this interview. Now if someone could find the news video of her arrest and trial from 1991 (clips from it were shown in the "Biography Channel" show on Dana).
One thing though: watch the three videos as soon as you can; YouTube has a nasty habit of "pulling" videos if there is even the slightest chance of copyright and/or ownership questions.

Hey Everyone I was wondering did Dana's family ever open up the restuarant in Tulsa, Ok. in her memory. I have searched the web, but to no avail. Any information would be appreciated.
Howard Stern is one of the biggest assholes in the
business. His attacks on Dana were unforgivable but for the jerk he was
and everyone knew this what could you expect. I know she had high hopes
for this interview and I know she didn’t expect to be attacked by that
idiot but I thought she should have not done the interview.
Nothing good has ever come from that white trash bastards show
that didn’t benefit Howard Stern himself. He is an idiot and anyone
that listens to him is about a big of an idiot as he is.
She was used and abused by the system as so often happens to
child stars as they try to transition into the adult side of show
business. And it is so sad the way her young life turned out.

I wouldn't want to see the Howerd Stern
interview. As you said, Dana deserved better. She went on that show in the hope
of promoting her career and giving people a positive image of herself, she was
so excited about it, but he just trashed her and was rude, which is all he
seems capable of.

I know it was on Danaplato.net, but this site is now gone and I have not been able to locate the interview anywhere.

Goto the interview/links page
The interview is about half way down. I just tested it and it's working fine.

I just read your thoughts on Dana. I think the passing of Michael Jackson says a lot, prescription drugs sadly claimed his life and sadly also that of Dana.
The pressure put on them by the world was far too great and unjust.
The sadess thing is that Dana's passing was ruled suicide, which I don't believe, but cocktail of any drugs is lethal as happened to Michael Jackson, his was an accident? Where's the difference? Perhaps where Dana got her drugs would be a good lead to follow?
Nothing I can say Can make your picture talk, I feel so tired and Nothing I can do Will make your picture move. I feel so helpless but I can feel A child with the ghost here. You let your heart slip away.
If I had one wish, I'd wish to talk with you, I have some questions, Things only you could know. If I had one wish I'd wish to talk with you, Nothing you can feel Can feel as cold as this. I'll sing this song and I'll say goodbye forever.
I wonder If God is all they say, I can't believe in such things. I suppose Some games are hard to lose, But you don't have to play 'cos I can feel A child with the ghost here You let your heart slip away.
I'll sing this song and I'll say goodbye forever ...

Exactly! This song sums up my feelings about Dana. She is gone but I feel sure
she is happier wherever she is and just wants to be left in peace. She is away
from all the scum that srewed up her life and that's something that should offer
us comfort. I've reached that conclusion now. I think we should let up trying to
find out all the mysteries behind her death, etc. I know Dana would appreciate
that. She knows we all love her so let's just remember her and keep her memory
alive.
It's almost like she's never going to grow up. Never going to get old or never
going to change. I feel the warmth of her ghost, her spirit, (whatever you want
to believe), all the time and I get immense peace of mind in knowing she's
'safe' now, forever ...
I'd like to dedicate this song to dear Dana ...
'A Child With The Ghost' by Gary Numan
Nothing I can say
Can make your picture talk,
I feel so tired and
Nothing I can do
Will make your picture move.
I feel so helpless but
I can feel
A child with the ghost here.
You let your heart slip away.
If I had one wish,
I'd wish to talk with you,
I have some questions,
Things only you could know.
If I had one wish
I'd wish to talk with you,
Nothing you can feel
Can feel as cold as this.
I'll sing this song and
I'll say goodbye forever.
I wonder
If God is all they say,
I can't believe in such things.
I suppose
Some games are hard to lose,
But you don't have to play 'cos
I can feel
A child with the ghost here
You let your heart slip away.
I'll sing this song and
I'll say goodbye forever ...
Rest in peace, Dana.
Hey folks! I think after 10 years, the Dana Plato.net website finally shut down. It really was the best site for Dana that I had ever seen. It is sad to see that it too like Dana is gone. It will be missed.

It looks like danaplato.net has vanished. It's fortunate that www.sitcomsonline. com/danaplato. html is still available. Does anyone know of any other good sites with comprehensive information on Dana?
Both of them brought so much joy to so many people at the expense of themselves
and it is sad to see such people leave the Earth, but at the same time I hope
that they now have the peace that they never knew when they were here.

Sadly I was another who was fooled by the lure of DVD's. I think perhaps at some stage his intentions were genuine, there is someone who got a few DVD's.
To trade on Dana's memory is beyond compehension, and she will be saddened for sure as she looks down. It is exactly the type of person who sadly betrayed Dana in her short time with us

I bet I know where all the donations went to this fictitious fund. The same place where all the money you took for your fictitious DVD auctions on Ebay. If only Dana were alive to see what you are doing in her name!
