Swarmed coming to DVD, and new promo pics
Tom Berry, Executive Producer of Michael's latest movie, Swarmed, has
informed MSOL the film will be released on DVD later this year. The actual
date hasn't been confirmed yet, though Tom indicated it's likely to be in
May, with distribution being managed by Lions Gate films. In other news, we
also have new promotional pictures from the film. To see the pics, go to the

More historic Michael Shanks

Taking a walk down the road of performances past, we've managed to
dig up a few items from Michael's early days on the stage.

First up, a review from local paper The Peak covering the production
of Wait Until Dark, performed at the Frederic Wood Theatre in 1993.

We also have a couple of copies of clippings from local papers, one
which advertises the play specifically, the other which covers local
community theatre, including the UBC Summer Players, a student-run co-
operative Michael was part of during 1993. You can find these in the

i'm new, my name is Daniel Sigman and i'm 13, Shanks is very, very,

I just realized that yesturday after I was "cleaning out my closet"
so to speak.  I was getting rid of groups that no one is either
posting in anymore or the list mum has gone MIA, and I realized that
I made the mistake of including this group in that category.  It was
another group that I belonged to that was for Michael Shanks.  I am

So let's talk new season here........I CANNOT wait.  I'm freaking
out because of not only the new season of SG-1 but, because of
Atlantis.  Atlantis is one of my favorite stories.  This new
companion series is going to be great.  I just hope that long
time "Gaters" and new "Gaters" will give the new series a chance.
Also RDA-Richard Dean Anderson (Jack O'Neill) and Michael Shanks
(Daniel Jackson) are going to be in the pilot of Atlantis.
Just a few more days.

I have moved afansite.com to it's own dedicated server that is loaded
with new features and scripts.  Whole a lot better than the server
that Surfsupnet.com is still on.  It's better equip to handle high
traffic fansites and supports streaming media and much more....

I need help to make sure that I setup the livehelp script correctly.

I personally can't wait to see him in the new season of Stargate SG-
1 and the first episode of Stargate Atlantis.  I mentioned in my
previous post the Sumaru movie he just completed, the new role of
Daddy, and I'm sure that he is going to be quite busy being a daddy
come september so he may put a few things on hold if he has anything
new coming up.

hello eveyone again.
i know it's been a long time since i last entered the list, but i
haven't quit, that's for sure. i was thinking these days, has any of
you seen any other movie featuring MS? i would be glad to hear some
more comments on this subject.

i have seen MS in 2 episodes of Andromeda, but i have to admit that
the role of villain was not exactly what i had in mind for him. even
so, his act was very ok and i'd love to see him more. what about you
all?

Hi everyone!  I'm from Austin, Texas.  I think Michael Shanks and his
character of Daniel Jackson is the most beautiful man I've ever seen.
His awe-inspiring portrayal of Daniel Jackson is simply amazing.  The
fact that he is drop dead gorgeous doesn't hurt either.  I would love
