Hi again. Sorry I haven't updated the group in so long. I've had a
pretty hectic few months and haven't been online much lately.
Did anyone watch Kelly in Above Suspicion? The first part was on
Sunday night. I wasn't sure it was going to be my sort of programme
but I tuned in to see Kelly, of course, and found I was hooked in no
time. I think Kelly is excellent in the role and I found the whole
thing very gripping, if somewhat gruesome at times! Lol. Can't wait
for part two!:)

It seems that Kelly is no longer filming The Sycamores and Dylan as
both films have been removed from her Filmography on IMDB very
recently. I thought she'd already filmed them, but obviously not!
It's a shame. Still, she certainly has lots of other projects lined
up, what with Triage, Me And Orson Welles, Above Suspicion, and
Puffball and Eden Lake are due out in cinemas very soon, I believe!
Lots of Kelly to look forward to! :)

Kelly will be starring in a new production of Lynda La
Plante's "Above Suspicion", which has just been commissioned by ITV1.
Here is a report, from The Stage Online:
"REILLY TO STAR IN LA PLANTE'S ABOVE SUSPICION FOR ITV1
Published Thursday 12 June 2008 at 14:20 by Matthew Hemley
Lynda La Plante has been commissioned to adapt her novel Above
Suspicion into a drama for ITV1, starring Kelly Reilly.
Reilly will play DC Anna Travis in the two-hour production, with
Ciaran Hinds starring as her boss, DCI Langton.
The story revolves around Travis' first murder case, involving a
series of killings where all the victims are drug users and
prostitutes.
Determined to earn recognition from her boss, she works hard to find
a vital piece of information which links one man - a well known
actor - to the murders.
Above Suspicion is being made by La Plante Productions for ITV1.
It is being produced by La Plante and Jolyon Symonds and directed by
Chris Menaul, who was responsible for ITV's See No Evil: The Moors
Murders.
La Plante said: "It is very exciting, this is the first time that
one of my books has been adapted for the UK screen and I am
thrilled. In creating Anna Travis, a young detective constable just
out of training, I can explore what it is like for a young detective
to face their first murder inquiry, the emotion that comes with that
as well the pressure and intrigue of the investigation."
She said Reilly was "so right for this role" because she brings her
own experience of "being the daughter of a policeman".
La Plante added: "It is that understanding and shared experience
that will help her bring Anna to life on the screen."
ITV director of drama Laura Mackie said: "It is really exciting to
be launching a brand new Lynda La Plante thriller, with such a
prestigious cast in the leading roles. This is a real blue-chip
project for ITV1"."

For anyone who missed the first episode of He Kills Coppers on ITV1
last Sunday, it's being repeated tonight (Thursday) on ITV1 again at
10.35pm. I missed it myself so look forward to seeing it tonight, it
looks good! :)
Oh, and I've just added a few small (but nice) pics of Kelly in the

Hi again. I've just been adding a few more pics of Kelly into the
Photos section. There's some new ones from the Bafta Nominations
announcement this week, added to the Award Ceremonies album. There's
some added to the Portrait Pics album, plus some more pics added to
the Joe's Palace album.
Enjoy! :)

Btw, Anyone been to see Kelly in Othello yet? I was supposed to be
going next month, but am no longer able to (something else has come
up) so had to sell my ticket. Very disappointed but can't be helped.
Anyone else been? Would love to hear your accounts. :)
Hi again. Still no news on the Kelly front. I guess she's busy
filming at the moment!
I found a few nice new portrait pics of her though and have added them
to the Photos section. There's 9 of them and they're in the Portrait
Pics album. :)
Josie
Hi again. Long time no chat, I know! I've just changed the URL of my
Kelly website, as I was having trouble with the old host server and
wasn't able to update my site for ages! So it's with a new host now,
and a free one at that! Lol.
The new URL is: http://kellyreilly.freehostia.com/
There's not much new news on it, as there hasn't been that much news
on Kelly at all in recent months. But of course the main big item of
news is that she's return to the London stage again, at the end of the
month! She'll be starring in Othello, at the Donmar Warehouse,
alongside Ewan McGregor and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Tickets don't go on sale
until the Autumn, and I'm sure they'll be like gold dust! I certainly
hope to try and go to see it, if I'm able to get a ticket, that is! :)
Anyway, hope everyone is well. :)
Josie
Hi everyone!
It's a pitty there's nothing about Kelly in the news anywhere...I
would like so much to see her in a movie again, what is not for so
soon as far as I understood.
I think Kelly is not tall, she seems to be 168cm, something like
that. But on stage she definitely radiate, she seems to be
everywhere.
Thank you Josie for the pics of the play you put on your site:)

Hi again. Been very quiet around here, I see! I know I haven't
been on here much myself lately, but I've just come back from London
after spending nearly two weeks there, visiting friends and family.
I went to see Piano/Forte twice last week. I really loved it. It's
so compelling, funny, wild, unpredictable, moving. The cast are
really good, especially Alicia Witt and Danny Webb, but it's Kelly
who shines the most. She has such a presence on stage and gives
such a terrific performance. She totally dominates the play
whenever she's on stage.
I met her twice too! The first time was just briefly, after the
first time I saw the play. I'd gone outside the theatre to have a
smoke and she and Alicia walked by. I just told them how much I
loved the play and their performances, and they thanked me. Just a
quick encounter. But I spoke to Kelly and Alicia a bit more the
second time, after the Q&A. I'd gone to the special Q&A they did,
for What's On Stage, after the play. That was really cool.
Afterwards they spoke to us and signed our programmes. Kelly is so
sweet and charming, very friendly and down to earth. She shook my
hand, which was nice. She's so pretty in the flesh. Very radiant.
During the Q&A Kelly amazingly said that she has no other work lined
up at present! Can you believe a wonderful actress like her has no
work?!! She said the film project she had been lined up to do had
all fallen through and she had nothing to replace it at the moment.
I guess that film must have been "Lumber", but she didn't say the
title, I don't think. But I've heard nothing more about about that
film recently. Such a shame, but lets hope she'll have lots more
work lined up soon. :)
Anyway, just letting you know - I've just added the Sunday Times
interview with Kelly to the Articles section on my site.
Hope everyone is well. Take care

Hi again. I've just added lots of great pics I found, of Kelly in
Piano/Forte, onto my site, here:
http://kellyreilly.aspaceygenius.com/theatrepics.htm
The press night for the play was last night. I've only found one
pic of Kelly from the after-party, so far, but hope some more will
appear soon. Here's the pic:
http://kellyreilly.aspaceygenius.com/pubapp1.htm
I'll add any new ones I find to my site, of course.
I've also posted two reviews, from the Guardian and What's On Stage,
onto the News page, here:
http://kellyreilly.aspaceygenius.com/news.htm
The play, and Kelly's performance, seem to be getting a lot of
praise, which is great. I've only seen one or two more lukewarm
reviews so far.
Anyway, chat again soon.
Josie
Hi Josie,
I'm a bit disappointed because as you know taking pictures is not
allowed at the Royal Court...but :)
Yes, I did chat to Kelly! She is nice, as I said, really kind but it
was really a short time...I was surprised that she looks really
young, slim and not really tall, like a student, I can't believe she
is nearly 30!
The play ,I read, is written especially for her, I would like to
know more about it, see more reviews, maybe if you chat to her, you
will ask her more about the part of herself in Louise, I wish I had.
What is the Q&A?
Take care :)

Hi Lili
Glad you loved Piano/Forte. I'm so excited about seeing it. I've
been reading good things about it so far, and particularly about
Kelly's performance in it. Did you chat to Kelly? How was she?
She looks so nice. I'm looking forward to the Q&A I'm going to,
that she's taking part in. Should be fun.
As for her next play, I've no idea. There's so little news about
her. Maybe after tonight's press night there'll be some nice
articles and pics of her. Here's hoping anyway! :)
Take care

Hi Josie!
It's always good to have some more news about Kelly and you!
Besides I'm so happy! I have seen her in Piano/Forte, she was SO
amazingly marvellous! I love her way of being on stage, the energy
she passes all around, and her kindness (ok, not in the play!).
The play is funny and dark , I liked and disliked her character all
in the same time, it's really eccentric! But she gave it everything
to make it lively.
What is her next play?!!
see you,

Hi again everyone. Been very quiet around here lately, I know.
There's not much Kelly news to report on at the moment, but hopefully
that will change soon, once Piano/Forte starts it's run. :)
Anyway, just giving a heads up to UK fans that the episode of Bramwell
that Kelly starred in is being shown on ITV3 on Friday 22nd September,
at 7.50pm. It runs for just over an hour, I believe. Kelly starred
in this episode in 1997. I don't know how big her role is in it.
I've never seen it myself, so I'm looking forward to it. :)
Hope everyone is well.

Hi Irma
I'd LOVE to have the your screen caps from Les Poupees Russes,
that'd be great. Thanks! :) I don't have the film yet, I havent'
even seen it yet! It's not out yet on dvd here, as far as I know
(maybe it has since) and I don't remember it coming to my local
cinemas either. So annoying. I love L'Auberge Espagnole, so I'm
sure I'll love Poupees too.
Thanks again about the screen caps. Yes, I'd love to add them to my
site and I'd credit them to you, of course. :)
Take care

Hi again everyone. I've just added 10 great promo pics for Look Back
In Anger, of Kelly and David Tennant from last year, to my Kelly site,
here:
http://kellyreilly.aspaceygenius.com/theatrepics.htm
I already had small, watermarked versions of these pics in the Photos
section of this group, but these new versions are much bigger and
unmarked. Much nicer! :)
Josie
Hello dearest Josie,
Good God, I was shocked when I saw the picture of Kelly and JJ =) !
You must know, I haven't seen a new picture of him for months and
this one is apsolutely new to me and it's brilliant!
I was thinking ho to say ''thank you'' to such a lovely person like
you are, and I recently got the ''The Russian Dolls'' DVD with
Kelly – so if you want, I can send you screencaps of it. You can use
them for your site or anything else you want…but if you don't want

have it =) Maybe you already have caps of The Russian Dolls, but I
haven't seen them on your site, so I thought you would like to have
them. Just let me know and thanks for the picture!
That is teriffic that you're going to see Kelly. I am sure you are
unbelievable happy and excited. Well, that's normal I think =) I
wish you all the luck and I hope you will enjoy watching her great
performance…Hope you somehow be able to get in contact with her –
who knows what could happen ;)
Hope all of you have a great weekend!

Sorry for my delay in replying. I haven't been online that much
recently. Of course you must post the link to your new JJ Feild
Group, Irma! I'd love to see it, as I'm sure many others will. I'll
add the link to my Kelly site too, if you'd like.
I've just added a couple of updates to my Kelly site a couple of
days ago. Nothing much to add, sadly, as there's been practically
no news on Kelly anywhere for ages. Not that I've found anyway.
Here's a pic I'm sure you'll like though, Irma, from 1994, of Kelly
and JJ:

They really did look lovely together.
I'm really excited as I'm going to be seeing Kelly twice in the
autumn! I've got tickets to see her in "Piano/Forte" at the Royal
Court Theatre in London on 30th September and then again on 5th
October. That second trip includes a special Q&A that cast members,
including Kelly, and the writer/director will be taking part in! I
can't wait! On that trip to London I'll also be going to the
special "24 Hour Plays" fundraising gala at the Old Vic on the
Sunday. I went to their one in 2004 but not last year's. Should be
good fun. I wonder which stars will take part this year.
Anyway, hope everyone is well. Take care
