I live in the wonderful state of IN.  It has snowed and is very cold
here today.  I plan on going out in the cold and truding to the
store.  Not much fun.  I have to toddlers one is almost 2 and the
other is 4.  So it makes a big chore to go to the store.  I was
wondering how many in this group has children and doesn't mind
sharing this with the group.  I have 4 kiddo's all together.  Two
that are teenagers and very much a teen.  One is 17 and the other is
15.  It has been really hard adjusting to life in the lupie lane and
raising kids.  I can say I have seen life at all spectrums.  I have
lived with kids almost all my life.  I had younger sibbs when I was
a kid/teen.  And when married for the first time I had a younger
sister that came to stay alot and my husband had kids from a
previous marriage.  Then we had kids and I helped to raise his two
boys from his first wife and our two.  Then they was older and I
divorced and remarried and now have two more to raise.  LOL.  It has
been a life of nothing but diapers peer pressure's and lots of
issues.  The bigger they get the bigger the issues.  Got to love it
though with all my illness's they are my foundation.  God has
blessed me in alot of ways.  This is my belief and not that I am
trying to get anyone to share the same belief.  I am voicing myself
to you.  Love bunches and hope you are safe and painfree..MISSY

I hope this finds everyone safe and pain free...I really feel stupid
for asking so many questions. I love watching Kellie on tv and all

It's nice...for a change...to be able to read a mature response from someone who seems like-minded.

Some seem to feel a bit of guilt and want to antagonize or mock...but that's ok, i just roll with the punches.

I really shouldn't have asked about her being a virgin til marriage...i know that wasn't appropriate. I was just thinking that she seems to have that type of character about her. It's very rare nowadays but not improbable.

Anyways, what's really important is not whether a woman remains a virgin but, if she can remain FAITHFUL. A virtuous woman is prized!
After all, all women were once virgins...but not all are virtuous.

Just going by his photos, Keith seems to be a real gentleman. Her judgement in men is apparent. If she were the type to go bed-hopping around (as SOME of us think!?!), then i doubt she would have chosen such a good man...or him choose her.

Of course she is human and i'm sure she isn't as innocent an angel as some of us would like to think. No one is perfect. But...her character shines forth from every appearance and film portrayal...and, like you said, if she WAS that type of woman, then it should not matter to her what image she portrays or roles she plays.
I'm sure the almighty dollar has enticed & tempted her many times...to compromise her dignity & morality. But the fact that she never 'gave-in' says a lot about her!

She is even a bit impish & candid and once talked about forgetting her tennis panties while playing against a male friend. That was a bit shocking.
Course, she never said anything further happened...and the guy probably acted as a gentleman and respected her. She admitted to being quite embarrased about it and only a modest woman would be. She really had no reason to bring it up if she wished anyone to not think of her as decent woman.

It's obvious she's a very passionate woman but i seriously doubt she "put-out" to every guy that dated her.

Of all the actresses i've ever watched...she stands alone as the one i admire most.

My wife does not mind me saying that. I praise my wife every chance i get...no woman can compare to my wife! And only God do i love or cherish more.

But i enjoy movies very much and i think i have a right to admire one of filmdom's finest actresses (and even more so as a person)...if not THE finest...in Kellie Martin.

You have no way of knowing what she might have done in private with those men.

i don't know how Kellie is in everyday life but, when i watch her in 'Christy', she reminds me so much of the character of my wife. The things she says and likes in real life is also so much like my wife. She even looks something like her. And she is only 2 inches taller than my wife.

It's funny how she's always saying she likes to wear shoes that make her taller...and how she likes to wear make-up...lol...she doesn't need either!

Former Emmy nominee Kellie Martin (Life Goes On) takes a break from her real-life
role as a senior majoring in art history at Yale University to join the cast of ER as
third-year medical student Lucy Knight.

A native of Riverside, California, Martin started acting at age seven, thanks mainly to her Aunt Rhonda, who was nanny to the late Michael Landon's children. "I was a real ham, and being the center of attention made me happy," says the actress, who wangled an audition for Landon's Father Murphy series. A small role on that show touched off a career.

Steady work continued throughout her childhood, which, she says, remained normal. "I don't think the child actor syndrome will hurt me because my family is so grounded," maintains the older of two daughters of a department store buyer father and a kindergarten teacher-turned-producer mother. Yet, her life changed when she landed the role of Becca Thatcher at 13, on the series Life Goes On, and began on-set schooling. "It was hard; I was treated a little differently when I went back to school to visit old friends," she admits.

Happily, college is an equalizer. "What I do is no big deal," says Martin, who deferred her studies twice before, as a freshman, when she starred in the title role on the series Christy as a young schoolteacher, and as a sophomore, when she starred as psychology student/intern Kathy Goodman on NBC's Crisis Center. While she must do so again, she affirms, "I'm in school for the love of it, and I feel no pressure to get straight A's. Show business is such a roller-coaster life. Her feature-film credits include Jumpin' Jack Flash, Troop Beverly Hills, Matinee and the animated The Goofy Movie (as the voice of Goofy's girlfriend).

In her off-hours, Martin, who someday hopes to open a photo gallery in New York, hones her photographic skills. She also enjoys frequenting museums, watching Saturday morning cartoons, dancing and traveling. Her birthday is October 16.
