Hi everyone!  I've been trying to get online for a bit now and not had much luck.  It's been a long & tiring month.  I've had a couple of doctor visits.  After 20 years of this, I'm really sick of going so much.  Their office takes about an hour's drive away - one way.  Since I get tired so easily, I'm often not up to being on the computer afterwards.  My mother has had a ton of doctor visits & tests this past week.  Some of her visits are also an hour's drive away...only in the opposite direction.  We live pretty much right in the middle of our docs, so that's pretty fair I think.  She's not able to drive any more, so I drive.  Her walking has also been getting worse, so she's needed a little extra help with that.  I'm happy to help her any way I can and she does the same for me.  The only problem is that I get tired so easily.  Since fall arrived, the CD & arthritis have really been acting up which causes a lot of weakness.  So after we get home & usually the next day, I find that I'm too wiped out to get online.  Well, actually that's not true.  I'd turn on the laptop and connect to the Internet and then I'd just fall asleep.  Sometimes I'd get my email open or PSP open & then fall asleep before doing anything.  So, I apologize for the MIA.  Hopefully, things will improve this week!!

Hi, everyone!  I'm sorry that I've been MIA for a bit.  Spring and autumn are always bad times for me.  The CD usually acts up and the arthritis always acts up.  Well, I fell a few weeks ago.  It did me in for a bit.  It not only aggravated the arthritis, but the shock of the fall effected the CD as well.  So, I spent a good deal of time in bed.  Then when it was getting better, I was playing with my cat as I do all of the time.  Somehow, though, his tooth made it's way into my hand.  It was a freak accident.  With a screwed up immune system & meds to lower immune system, my hand was just waiting for an excuse to get an infection.  Fortunately, it wasn't bad, but it did cause some pain in my hand and made the arthritis worse there so my hand was difficult to use for a bit.  And, of course, it was my dominant hand.  So, I wasn't on the computer for a bit.  I'm hoping that things are now moving in a better direction.  Back in '84, I ended up with a cat bite.  My house cat was accidently outdoors.  I was trying to get him back in and he didn't hear me because he was concentrating too hard on a cat outside that I'm like 98% sure that it was his sister.  Anyway, I couldn't get his attention so I finally picked him up.  When I did, it scared him and he bit.  As soon as he saw it was me, he stopped any fighting.  Anyway, my hand was twice it's size by the next day.  So, both times I had to have antibiotics.  Then in '98, I ended up with what was technically called a squirrel bite.  I spent that Easter Sunday in ER.  This was an extremely tame squirrel that had been coming around for a long time.  He would come right up to you to get the nuts.  So, that day I decided to hand him a nut.  He decided to take it from me.  He took it very slowly and very, very gently.  His tooth actually just scraped my hand.  He didn't really bite at all.  I had cleaned the wound well at home and then they cleaned it well at the hospital.  They gave me a tetanus shot since I was over due.  Then I spent several hours sitting in ER as they debated whether I needed rabies shots or not.  They finally decided not, but I was suppose to come back right away if I noticed a problem starting up with the wound or something else going on.  I was the hit of the hospital that day, though.  Everybody came from everywhere to find out how I got bit by a squirrel.  LOL  I just find it funny that my two house cats did me in while the squirrel from the wild caused no problem at all.  LOL   Anyway, I hope I'm back up and running now fairing regularly.

 

 

 

Well, I played around in PSP a bit before I fell a couple of weeks ago and then didn't fell up to doing any email and, even more so, working on graphics.  But, I'm hoping to be getting back to business here....at least some.  There seems to be a lot to do around here for the next few weeks.  Anyway, this one didn't come out quite like I hoped it would, but it came out as it came out.  LOL   I'm offering tags for it anyway.  Click on the Sample tag to get to my Fotki site where you can request a tag and remember to check back to pick up your tag/s.

 

 

 

Hi, ladies!  Sorry that I've been MIA.  I've not been feeling too well and then about two and a half weeks ago I lost my balance and had a pretty hard fall.  That has kept me in bed a good part of the time since then.  I've just been up to getting online.  So, I apologize for not being around.  I hope you are all well and are ready for the weekend!!
