I just finished reading an article dated April 1 2004 and he did not have any
kids. I'm beginning to think that if he was dating someone with 3 boys than they
probably weren't his.

I don't know about others here but I have never really been that
interested in JD's personal life.  I am happy being clueless about it
(unless he goes and does a stupid thing like driving drunk!  then i
just get mad at him).  A long time ago I remember he or a friend or
his had said he was very private and avoided big-time starring roles
cause he didn't want to be known.  Then he did Burn Something on cable
and I was like "uh huh, sure, JD, you don't wanna be famous?"  but so
far no one has figured out his personal life and this makes me happy.
I bet he works hard to keep it a mystery.

And on a much more serious note,  our very own local Miami hunk and star of
USA's show Burn Notice, Jeffrey Donovan,  is seen all over town either filming
or unwinding after filming.   I actually bumped into once at a local restaurant
and, well, it was worth spilling red wine all over my white dress!
This week he was spotted by trusted sources at a Coral Gables Starbucks just
hanging out and glancing at what appeared to be a script, accompanied by two
unidentified (good looking) males.  Bodyguards?  Producers?

I feel the same way. I met him last November, and given it was only for like 3 minutes, he just didn't seem like he would do something stupid like that. I'm pretty disappointed, but I will still watch the show. I've been a fan of his since I was 12 years old and watching the Pretender. I seriously hope he learns from this, and it doesn't occur again.

I don't want to come off as being the unsensitive witch that from my comments may seem, but I know many actors who have done the whole DUI thing as everyone else and end up with mugshots and then their agents make them do a statement. I just didn't think Jeff of all people would end up like that. But, it isn't also like you didn't see it coming from a few articles buried and people being respectful of him and not showcasing the photos online with mentions. But yes, I will continue to watch the show but hope this incident doesn't occur again or a much broader span. I will assume that is the reason why he broke connections with pages online he had dealt with was so people would not bombard him with comments or statements.

"Burn Notice" star Jeffrey Donovan is going to have a rough time in court --
it's not exactly an airtight defense in a DUI case to argue, "I really think I'm
only borderline and not too drunk."

We obtained the police report from the Miami Beach PD. The arresting officer
wrote he first noticed Donovan after hearing "a loud tire screech behind me."
The cop said he saw Donovan's car swerve left to avoid hitting the police car.

When Donovan finally stopped, he didn't serve himself well when he said, "Sorry,
I didn't see the red light or your stopped car."

The officer says he smelled a strong odor of alcohol, asked Donovan if he had
anything to drink and got this answer: "I had three drinks at the
Fontainebleau."

Donovan flunked a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. That's when he
said, "The only mistake I made tonight was drinking Benadryl with 3 glasses of
wine."

He should have known that you don't mix alcohol with medication.

When I saw this I was so disappointed in him. I knew, for a fact, that he was the type of guy to lead a straight life... No Hollywood BS for him. Gosh, did he just make me eat my words or what? Hey, I"d second that. ( Miss the Pretender, as does one original member). I still love Jeff's line of "I decide who lives or dies, I decide who lives or dies". And after watching last nights Burn Notice I sooooooooo wished that James Denton would have been the guy trying to kill Michael Westen. Just a Kyle vs. Lyle 2009 remake. But, no... The show Burn Notice is on for three more episodes then it's on hiatus.

been a Jeffrey fan since Touching Evil (USA version).
I saw him in The Pretender, but at that time I liked Michael T Weiss
so...but that all changed.

There's quite a few movies out there with him...haven't seen

Apparantly Jeff has made a statement stating that the facebook and myspace pages
that bear his name, he has nothing to do with since he has gotten personal
messages on them and claim they do no go to him.  So, I just thought I would
post this in case anyone has left a message on either of those.  Also stating he
just got back from being on vacation in Costa Rica.

I guess with everyone so tech savvy and having many different venues online to
communicate and post one needs to be careful.  I know I do have a facebook and
myspace page with many people who actually are said person as I comminicate with
them quite often.  But there are also "FANS" on pages and sites and I have met
some who you really do have to watch what you personally say as they may seem
level headed but indeed are not.  So, good luck to the rest of you who do those
forms of communication.

Just to let you all know in case you didn't already, tomorrow June 25th, Jeffrey
did a cover shoot for Burn Notice and will be on the cover of TVGuide Magazine.
Not TVGuide. There is also a video roaming around on Spoilertv.blogspot.com 
Under Burn Notice of the day the cover was shot. Not sure if it will be posted
anywhere. Hope everyone is having a nice week and not getting hit 24/7 with
rain, like it is in New York. I heard it hit 101 two days ago in Florida.

For those of you that DID get to see his interview you got to see that we honored him at the AEFI event where he attended with his Mom and Aunt. I've attached the links as to what amazing thing he did while he was here!

I think most of you know that Jeff has always been held near and dear to my heart since he stole it back in High School, but his speech, the way he spoke to everyone (and my wonderful hug!!) and the way he is with his Mom had the room in tears. I would have to say there wasn't a dry eye in the house!

thanks for the info on the camera.

Hope some got to catch the show. I taped it and pretty much looked better on tv as I could see the whole show without bobbing my head to see around the cameras. I believe that the video of him on the show may already be on youtube but not sure. Others have said it was a quick interview.

You may want to try a Nikon Coolpix. The one I got has an awesome VR
(vibration resistance). Where my Kodak took lousy pics, even in good
light, due to my hand shaking, I have yet to have any blurry pics with
my Nikon. :)

I have a twitter account mainly because everyone else does. As for Twitter. there are many techincal difficulties all the time with it. stating you need to come back. It's rather aggravating... But everyone puts up with it. You just have to continue to deal with the issues. But I use a home computer so it may be a bit easier if you have a laptop or use an iPhone.
