A documentary on Fred’s unfinished project with some of hisex-mining friends to
create a replica coal mine in the back garden of his housein Bolton, digging a
70ft deep shaft, with an underground railway leading fromthe bottom out to the
side of a valley with the aim being to demonstrate thebasic working of an early
colliery.

3 Hours running time includes thefull 60 minute BBC documentary, and 2 hours of
previously unseen DVD extrasincluding Fred outlining his grand plan for the
mine, work on the pit bank,winding engine and the uncut bow and arrow scene.
