The Zach and Miri Make a Porno star is in final negotiations to steam up the big
screen with the State of Play thesp in Paul Haggis' upcoming drama, The Next
Three Days.
Per the Hollywood Reporter, the film is based on the 2008 French thriller Pour
Elle about a man (Crowe) who sets out on a desperate mission to save his wife
(Banks) after she's arrested and convicted for a murder she claims she didn't
commit.
Haggis, the Oscar-winning triple threat behind 2004's Crash, will write, direct
and produce Days through his Highway 61 Films shingle. Lensing starts next
month.
