Have you ever meet David Boreanaz at a convention?
If so please share your story with us.
Please make sure that your subject line reads "I Meet David Boreanaz".

Also if you have any pictures please post them in the photos section,
but first make a folder with the name of the convention you meet David at.
Example "Canadain National Expo Pics" and put the photos of David in there,
that way if others meet him at the same convention, they can add there pictures
too.

Also feel free to include a description with the pictures you upload to the
group, but you don't have too.

Thanks!

david_boreanaz_dedicated@yahoogroups.com

The goal of this game? Is to post quotes from a character role that David has
played on a TV show or in a movie.
Please note quotes can only be posted if they were said by David’s character in
the TV show or movie.
First someone posts a quote and then everyone else tries to guest what character
said, what TV show or movie it was from.
Once you make the correct guess and post it, you start with the next quote, do
not post the next quote until the person who
posted the previous quote makes a reply back that had the right answer.
Please note if guessing a quote from a TV show, you give the character name,
show and the season the show was in.
You don’t have to give the episode name, but it will be better if you can, it
will show how David dedicated you really are.

So, have fun playing the game! Just mark any posts on this topic with the
following in the subject line please:

David Quotes Game posted by (your name or nickname)

So we know who posted the quote.

11.13.08Another warning about GrouplyPosted in Art tagged Yahoo Groups, Grouply
at 12:44 pm by Mary

Here is another warning I received about Grouply:

FROM eTHE YAHOO TEAMf
This is a new site which advertises they can make accessing your groups faster
and easier. Most of us are too seasoned to fall for something like this, but I
am posting this as CYA.

This is what happens when you join:

gFirst, when a member joins, it automatically changes their primary email
address for the groups, giving them a @grouply.com extension.

This is being done unaware to those who are joining. Secondly, members who join
the grouply website are having to give their member ID and password. This opens
up a security issue for those members.

Thirdly, once a member joins grouply, it opens access to the files and posts of
each group to the grouply website.

Grouply staff can then access these files. If they get hacked, then it opens the
doors to the groups getting hacked as well. It has also been reported that itfs
generating a lot of spam already.h

In other words, information from a group can be made accessable to everyone, and
massive amounts of spam with your email address can be generated.

The following information tells you the steps which needed to be taken if
someone has joined Grouply.com

IDENTIFY THEFT AT GROUPLY.COM <http://grouply. com/> There is a message going
out to different Yahoo Groups advertising and suggesting that you join a new
group called GROUPLY. This group claims to help manage all your Yahoo groups and
you will get a summary, at the end of the day, telling you what is going on in
all your groups.

IF YOU JOIN THIS GROUP, they use your Yahoo ID and password to post gmass
mailingsh (can be junk, can be porno) and send them to anyone, and since itfs
YOUR ID they are using, others will think it is coming from you.

For instance, you could get an email CLAIMING that it came from gemagic2
Yahoo group and it really is not from this group. I could get an email, with
this mass mailing, claiming it came from me, and it wouldnft have been from me.

Again, IF YOU HAVE JOINED THIS GROUP called gGROUPLYh IMMEDIATELY leave
Grouply. Then go into your account at: http://groups. yahoo.com/mygroups and
change your password. Some groups have posted that this will help.

Unsubbing from that group wonft make a difference (but I think you will want
to) so change your Yahoo Password.

By joining this group you have also exposed all your groups, group members and
group leaders to hacking of their emails and group information.

Because of this problem, all members with a email grouply.com are being removed
from the affected groups. This is the only way to protect all the members.

This is how Identity theft gets going. They now have your real email, your yahoo
emails, any emails listed in your yahoo group and can mail as you in and out of
the yahoo groups.

I hope you understand what is happening and will take precautions to protect
your Yahoo ID.
Thanks;
The Yahoo Team

__________________________________________________________________

To All Members:

Below is an email I sent to my own group this morning. Since then, I
have been able to confirm that Grouply is harvesting email addresses.
A list member of one of my groups joined Grouply a few months ago not
realizing what they are. One it was discovered, that person left
Grouply. Now I, and probably some of you, are receiving invitations
to join Grouply claiming they come from that individual, a group
member or even a friend. If you receive an invitation from Grouply, DO
NOT JOIN or they will harvest every email address from every group you
belong to. Yahoo and Google are well aware of the issue and I suspect
we will see litigation in the not too distant future. I am surprised
I didn't see something here. If you read the excerpts from their
terms of service (excerpts included below), you will see that they can
do ANYTHING they want with your personal information. Take care and
stay safe on the internet!

Here is my original post to my own group this morning:

Please be very careful what kind of groups and/or services you join.
I have been receiving invitations to a "wonderful service" called
Grouply. Grouply combines all of your list emails into one manageable
list. It also requires you give them your Yahoo or Google ID and
password. If you have photos, email or any other Yahoo or Google
service using that ID, you just gave up all rights to privacy by
handing out your password. WOT (Web of Trust) won't even allow the
Grouply page to be viewed. I had to disable it to read the terms of
service. That is the first time that has ever happened.

Below is more information on Grouply. If you join Grouply, every post
you make on Yahoo or Google groups could be available to the public
and they have the right to do whatever they want with it - even if the
group is private! Your messages are stored on their servers and all
posts go through their servers! Yahoo and Google are reportedly up in
arms as Grouply is obviously harvesting their groups and members.

DO NOT EVER give out your Yahoo or Google password to anyone! If you
do, you just handed them your life to be take over - and they will!
Any photos you may have on Flickr or other such sites will be made
available to Grouply as well as your emails. What they are doing is
harvesting email addresses which can be sold, sublicensed, etc. One
person reported that he received an invitation from a friend only to
find out the friend never sent it. I sent an email similar to this
one to the person who sent me the invitation. Now I am wondering if
that person really sent it. I will let you know.

Grouply has Yahoo and Google group owners in an uproar and some are
banning members who join Grouply because they see the problems that
lie ahead. If Grouply was an honest business, they would have you
join under a their ID like most groups do and let YOU make the needed
changes to YOUR group settings. They would not be asking you to
reveal personal information to them. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL
INFORMATION TO ANYONE WHO REQUESTS IT OVER THE INTERNET!

If you have already joined Grouply, you will need to change the
settings for your groups back to Google or Yahoo because Grouply
automatically changes them to their own. You will need to go to the
group web site and copy the correct link at the bottom of the screen.
You should also change your password after you get out of Grouply.
Since I didn't join, I have no idea how you do that but from what I
have read, you have to email them and hope they do as you ask. There
is no link or button to unsubscribe from their service - another major
red flag.

Keep in mind that they will still have your ID and email address for
future use so make sure after you leave them that you also request
that they block that email address. Then make sure you you block them
too!

Since I first received an invitation to join Grouply in September, the
amount of SPAM has increased and I am now getting invitations to join
porn groups. Thank goodness for Google's filters and SPAM control.
No way to know if the two are connected but I have reported two porn
groups to Yahoo - one as recently as this morning. Until September of
this year, I had never received invitations to groups like this.

There is a link at the bottom of the Grouply invitation to request to
be removed from their mailing list. However, they still know my
Google ID (the one I use for my groups). It is a two step process
that requires you to provide them with your email address which they
obviously have in the first place. Make sure you use the email
address they used to send the invitation or you could be providing
them with more information than you intended.

Below is taken directly from Grouply's terms of service:

Grouply does not control the Content posted via the Services and, as
such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such
Content. You understand that by using the Services, you may be exposed
to Content that might be offensive, indecent or objectionable. Under
no circumstances will Grouply be liable in any way for any Content,
including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content,
or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of
any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available
via the Services.

For all Content that you submit or make available for inclusion on
publicly accessible areas of the Services, you grant Grouply a
worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable and transferable
license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform
and publicly display such Content on the Site and via the Services
solely for the purpose for which such Content was submitted or made
available. This license exists only for as long as you elect to
continue to include such Content on the Site or Services and will
terminate at the time you remove or Grouply removes such Content from
the Site or Services. You acknowledge and agree that any feedback,
comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding Grouply, the Site
or Services is entirely voluntary and Grouply will be free to use such
feedback, comments or suggestions as it sees fit, entirely without
obligation of any kind.

In other words, they can do anything they choose with YOUR INFORMATION
and their terms of service say so. Further, it has been reported that
they removed members who complained when their privacy was invaded and/
or asked them to remove objectionable comments.

When Grouply first started up, there were quite a few favorable
comments about them. The concept is great on the surface but handing
over your life to anyone is risky as best. Always read the terms of
service before trusting anyone with your information! Here is more
info on Grouply below.

Thanks!

Thanks;
The Yahoo Team

Please note quotes can only be posted if they were said by David’s character in

First someone posts a quote and then everyone else tries to guest what character

Once you make the correct guess and post it, you start with the next quote, do

Please note if guessing a quote from a TV show, you give the character name,

mailingsh (can be junk, can be porno) and send them to anyone, and since itfs

Thanks;
The Yahoo Team

Here is more
info on Grouply below.

your friends got you to like David's

Have you ever meet David Boreanaz at a convention?
If so please share your story with us.
Please make sure that your subject line reads "I Meet David Boreanaz".

Also if you have any pictures please post them in the photos section,
but first make a folder with the name of the convention you meet David at.
Example "Canadain National Expo Pics" and put the photos of David in there,
that way if others meet him at the same convention, they can add there pictures
too.

Also feel free to include a description with the pictures you upload to the
group, but you don't have too.

Thanks!

Subject: File - David Quotes From TV Shows & Movies Game
david_boreanaz_dedicated@yahoogroups.com
Send Email Send Email

Thanks
