I'm sorry I've been missing for so long, I do love being in this group.  I was ill for quite a while. I was having blackouts and other odd things have been happening. The dr thought It was epilepsy but now they think it might be my blood pressure, I really don't care what it is anymore I just wish it would stop. Things were pretty awful for a while, I just feel so drained all the time now, but a little better since I cut my hours at work a little and tried to take things easy when i have the chance. I've missed being here and chatting with you guys :-)
 
Your last semester? you must be so excited, all of that work behind you and now just a little longer and you'll be all done :-) I hope all is going well for you, I know you'll be working very hard but look after yourself too ok? sometimes it's easy to forget that you have to rest while studying because it seems there is too much to do and not enough time to do it all in :-)

Hi Marion, I've been with a group for a year or so.  I'm a dedicated Daniel fan not just a Daniel as 007 fan, I've seen all of his films and enjoyed them all.  I'm 37, divorced and live alone in Bristol.  I think the pictures are the same as they're mostly obtained from the net so tend to be the same photos.  Nice to have someone new in the group!

There will be longer to wait for the next Bond than there was with 'Quantum of Solace' after 'Casino Royale' probably because it was a sequel. I read that the writers were sounding out staff at the foreign office to keep track of the situation there. I also read that they might send Bond to New York as he's never been there, thats the trouble so many rumours what do you belive?

It is quite strange how some things in movie end up happening in real ife. The Manchurian Candidate (1962) is a very good example.
It's much too early for them to announce any filming locations at this time, but is was rumored that they were doing research on Afghanistan and drugs I think.
I would rather they make a story far away from the Middle East and why does it always have to be something about drugs or traffiking.

I don't know, I always saw 'Q' as older and a bit of a eccentric boffin! I could see someone like Derek Jacobi playing him like that! Daniel did say he wanted a 'good actor' to play him (if they bring him back)!! As for 'Monypenny' I don't know of any actresses that stand out to me.

Samantha Bond feels that she is to old to be Miss Moneypenny now that there is a
younger James Bond. Well Daniel Craig is currently 41, Samantha Bond is only 47.
She played "Moneypenny when she was 33-39 (1995-2002). Lois Maxwell played "Miss
Moneypenny" when she was 35-58 (1962-2002), but then of course, Roger Moore and
Lois Maxwell were the same age and they also knew each other in the past before
"Bond".
   I think Samantha Bond and Daniel Craig would look great together together. 
However, I suppose it would now be a matter if Samantha Bond is asked to return
and if she feels she would fit into the role again.
   I don't think John Cleese would return to the role after bombing it in Die
Another Day.
   If they do bring back the Quartermaster, it would probably someone new.
   If they want the characters to have the same kind of longevity as in the past
with the same actor, they need to choose very special actors to fill the shoes.
It just can't be anyone.
   Replacing Lois Maxwell was a very diffucult thing to do. Carolinee Bliss'
portrayal really didn't work for the fans in The Living Daylights and Licence To
Kill. Samantha Bond was widely accepted as "Miss Moneypenny". It seems with
every movie, she was given more scenes to do with great dialouge.
   There is no sense in bring back "Q" unless he has the same style as Desmond
Llewelyn if not more so. He was in the Bond movies from 1963-1999.
