This list is for all fans of Admiral Chegwidden from JAG who is played by John M. Jackson. The purpose of the list is to discuss the work of John M. Jackson who has had a long career in television, movies and on the stage.

You can also post fan fiction (no racier than PG-13 please because of the open nature of this list) directly to the list. If you do, feedback will be given privately unless you state in your headers that you are open to a public discussion of your story. Also, please be honest and specific about what type of feedback you desire. If you wish to hear praise only, please say so. If you wish to hear about plot inconsistencies but not spelling mistakes, please say that. If you are interested in whatever people want to say, then you need do nothing except ask for feedback in general. We ask this to avoid hurt feelings and confusion among list members.

When you join this list, you are automatically enrolled in the John M. Jackson Admiration Society (JMJAS) which is an unofficial Fan Club for Mr. Jackson (although you may request to be removed from the fan club membership list). This list also serves as the primary method of communication for JMJAS news.
