Not quite to paint like Cole, but I’ve been working on the panel lines.  I plan to etch them in…slowly…with a dremel.  I also included the 4 panel top like on the Disney R4…but I may change it, I almost think the top panels look like they should open up and fold…and I may give that a shot down the road, if so, the top panels wouldn’t make sense… ha ha.

Anyhow, here’s the latest.  You can see my outline for the single front logic I plan to install.  As well as the space above for the little bump bit.  This is going for an EP II style R4.  Eye is just taped on, thus the crookedness.  Overall I’m happy with the way it’s coming.

Just a quick note that I’ve updated my site.  Added “Homer” and some additional pics of other items.  For those of you trying to figure out how the KHFs go together I added some photos of those as well.  (Remember, you will need to cut the existing ends off the cables.  I used tape and a bolt cutter.  Tape the area to be cut first to hold the loose strands of brass wire together, then cut through.  Bolt cutter worked great, but you will need to work the end back into shape a bit.  The tape also helps in getting the end through the KHF.)

These were probably on the site at one point, but I know I had looked for them recently before astromech went down for rework and could not find them.  Now that I have I thought I’d send them out.  While I have no idea the origin, these are some great views for doing your research.  IF someone know who made these originally, please chime up to give some credit where due.

Enjoy

All,

The last 2 packs went out yesterday for the KHF (Knurled Hose Fittings) run.  However, I have more extras than expected.  Please review the list below and contact me ASAP if you paid for a part or more on this run and are NOT on this list.

Yes, I am aware most of you have not yet received your parts.  I will be having a meeting with the Postmaster tomorrow, again, to discuss.   Any future runs of mine will not ship from Pearland, Tx USPS.

All,
It seems most everyone responding so far is unable to proceed at the increased
price. So I am going to start issuing refunds. Some of the funds were used as
a production deposit, so bear with me on that, ill need to get those funds back
to cover everyone. I should have all refunds on their way within a week. I'll
keep everyone informed.

I will work with the shop on the redesign and if I can get the price down ill
reopen the run pending bc approval, or open it with the final increased price
once I have an actual piece to show how beautiful a part it is.

I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. Those of you who have done
runs in the past can likely empathize.

Doug.

Yeah I know, I never really thought this stuff would work either, but honestly I
stand totally corrected. This place http://www.talkorviewcams.info/vnnw is
actually very awesome. I hooked mycam up and within no time at all I was talking
to a few great ladies over it. Anyway, I recommend it to everyone here!

Just thought I should pass on my knowledge to all you guys (and gals) on here. I
know just like heaps of other men I am pretty shy when it comes to going up to
someone. I've tried a few different places (clubs, bars, etc) but never seem to
have too much luck. Anyway, a few weeks ago I joined up to
http://www.havealooknow.info/izun and I have to say I am already getting
excited. I was beginning to think I'd end up being alone for ever, but already
been talking to a few interested ladies on there. Anyway, if
you're like me it comes highly recommended!
