Description

The primary focus of this group is on film as art, from an auteurist perspective. For more information, see our Statement of Purpose. If you're interested in joining our group, please do not apply from this Web site; first read our Information on Joining. Our Statement of Purpose contains details about how we operate. Please post your biography in the "Bios" folder in our files sections. Some past posts can be found under "messages" and on the new archives page. We welcome some OT posts here when occasioned by film discussions; long OT threads and chatty exchanges can be taken to the OT board.

This page shows a still of Kenji Mizoguchi's 1948 film Yoru no onnatachi (Women of the Night).
