The setting is the era after Episode 6, Return of the Jedi. The reign of Emperor Palpatine is over and the galaxy has begun to rebuild. A new government has been established, the Galactic Senate has been restored to power and a transitional governing body of three is in control. Mon Mothma, leader of the Rebel Alliance; Admiral Delurin, leader of the Mon Calamari forces allied with the former rebels; and Brig Nomer, a former senator from the Outer Rim planets. Since we know from the ending of Revenge of the Sith that the EU as established in the Star Wars novels can't happen the way it did, this game will give players the opportunity to make it all happen in a different way. Luke Skywalker has the help of Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Anakin Skywalker and Qui Gon Jinn in rebuilding the ranks of the Jedi. The defeated armies of the Emperor have retreated to thevastness of the outer territories to decide their own future. Original characters are welcome. Characters from the books are welcome, too. You can have as many characters as you want, just be sure you can keep them active.
Note: This is a dramatist game - meaning we are telling a story and all action must relate to the story outline and it's goals. It's a first experience for most of us, so nothing is perfect.
