Description
Robert Lawrence Leonard was born on the 28th February 1969 in Westwood, New Jersey.
The name 'Sean' is his brothers name and he is 6ft 1 of pure talent.
In his short life he has done so much.. He attended the Columbia University school of General Studies and Continuing Education.
In 2001 he received a Tony Award as Best Actor (Featured Role - Play) for his portrayal as A.E. Housman in Tom Stoppard's "The Invention of Love." Nominated in the same category two other times: in 1993, for a revival of George Bernard Shaw's "Candida," and in 2003 for a revival of "Long Day's Journey into Night" by Eugene O'Neill.
He's also co-founded a theater company called Malaparte with Ethan Hawke, Frank Whaley, and Steve Zahn. (Ethan being one of his co-stars in Dead Poets Society. Frank Whaley from Swing Kids)
His most famous outings to date have been 'Swing Kids' and believe me if you've never seen him move and sing, you have to watch this film. A film that I first saw him in "Jet" (Ground Control) and of course now "House MD".
In real life he is friends with Hugh Laurie.
