Kelly Ripa created the role of rebellious teenager Hayley Vaughan in November, 1990 and throughout the years has flourished into one of All My Children's most beloved actors.

Ms. Ripa, the first in her family to enter the acting profession, was encouraged to pursue her craft following her senior year in high school. In addition she has
studied ballet since age three, plays the piano and in her own words "can carry a tune — but is no Barbra Streisand."

Ms. Ripa received nationwide acclaim since joining Regis Philbin in February, 2001 as co-host of the popular syndicated daytime talk show Live! With Regis and Kelly and earned her first "Outstanding Talk Show Host" nomination, along with Mr. Philbin.
