Oh, darn.  It's common practice.  There are whole groups where artists do just that.  Umm, it's kind of like putting your name on a card or something.  Just as a decorative signature.  It's kind of cool, you really should look into it because you're very talented.  But then again if you don't want people using your tags then I guess you wouldn't be interested.  In that case, I would recommend that you remove all of your tags from your site and put your name on them like I put mine or someone else will likely do it - and probably have long ago I'd imagine.  http://www.fotki.com/us/ has lots of what they call blanks (tags like yours that people put their names on or request their names to be put on them).  Here's a great site with TONS of blanks.  http://public.fotki.com/GizmoBird/  It surprises m e you're unfamiliar with the practice since you know about making tags.  I just don't want you to think badly of me and want to illustrate it's not something I am making up to steal your tags.  LOL

Am am a little confused though, because you call them tags but don't use them as tags are commonly used.  What do you mean when you call them tags?  I assume you made them purely for enjoyment but I am just curious as to how the term came into it is all.  Most artists sign their tags like you do also, see example below.

If you'd like me to delete the one I made from your tag just let me know and I sadly, but respectfully, will.  If you look into it and decide it's something you would be ok with, or need more information how artists typically handle this issue, just let me know.  I would love to  help and especially use a lot of your tags, and proudly so!

Hi gang;

This is kinda weird.  I haven't thought of Palace Keanu, my olde list/website in like forevermore (like SEVEN YEARS AGO) and then I got this notice from the site host telling me if I don't do something with it they were gonna delete it.  So I saved it.  It's just odd because.  A weird coincidence, not anything like spiritual or cosmic or anything.  LOL  I just find it peculiar that we only recently began chattering here again and mentioned it and now it's like it's risen from the grave too.  Anyhow, I don't think I want to revive the list.  BUT if we could use it for the list here for a picture host or something I am game to do the up-keep.  So Nonce, check it out and if you think it could be cool feel free to put it as a URL on the group page.  It never really got very far before I deleted the group.  Here it is just the same:  http://keanu.20m.com
