The listserve's main objective is to compile the "Best of the Best" films from the African Diaspora, for distribution and global promotions. Our primary focus is on Africa's premiere film and video festival FESPACO held biennially in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Featured are information on African diasporic films, documentaries and the awards process for the PAUL ROBESON AWARD competition at FESPACO and other Pan African-related events. We also share travel and cultural exchange information to facilitate your plans to visit Burkina Faso to attend the film festival.
