Last Saturday's SCHOOL'S OUT show was a great success, including the special
guest performance by SETH of southern California's CREATURES OF THE NIGHT cast.
If you weren't there, you missed a GREAT show!

But never fear, because you can't miss THIS weekend!

FRIDAY NIGHT we bring you our annual ROCKY PROM! If you were too cool (or not
cool enough!) to go to your REAL prom or you just want to experience it all over
again, Chandler Cinemas is THE place to be this Friday night! Featuring four
hours of music, dancing, and refreshments. All ages welcome, no dress code
(provided it's street-legal!) and everyone is welcome--COME AS YOU ARE! We will
be voting for the KING and "QUEEN" of the Prom! All for just $5, starting at
8pm. Bring a date or come stag, but be ready to have fun!

SATURDAY NIGHT is the last show of the month and so it's LINGERIE & FETISH

Due to unexpected circumstances we have changed our SCHOOL'S OUT SHOW featuring
THE NAUGHTY SCHOOLGIRL CONTEST to TOMORROW....Saturday, May 30th, seating at
11pm with the show starting at 11:30! $7 admission

The May 30th show ill now revert to LINGERIE & FETISH NIGHT (but feel free to
wear schoolgirl outfits to that one if you want!) Contest entrants must be 18+
with valid ID

And on Friday May 29th we will have ROCKY PROM. If you were too cool or not cool
enough to go to your REAL prom, this is for you--four hours of music, dancing,
punch & pie, and the coolest freaks in the Valley. Dress code is INFORMAL--COME
AS YOU ARE! All ages, everyone is welcome! Friday May 29th, 8pm-midnight, $5
(held in "the Suite" at Chandler Cinemas)

(This is not to be confused with the VAMPIRE PROM happening tonight at
Tranzylvania, FETISH PROM on June 6th at the Venue of Scottsdale
(www.AZFetishball.com--warning: mature content), or "The Prom" Party being held
by our friends at clixbagoftricks on May 30th--both of which we also support!)

In a few months COME AS YOU ARE will celebrate a milestone many predicted we
would never reach--our third anniversary.

We have been very lucky to keep many of the same castmembers for much of that
time. But all things change, and recently a number of castmembers have announced
their departure. We wish them all nothing but the best, but this means--

WE'RE LOOKING FOR NEW BLOOD! WE NEED NEW CAST!

We will have openings in just about EVERY position available for both ROCKY and
REPO, including but not limited to:

Hello everyone!

This weekend Come As You Are presents not one but TWO performances of ROCKY
HORROR for your deviant delight!

FRIDAY MAY 8th we present "OLD SCHOOL NIGHT"...we will be doing ROCKY in a MUCH
smaller theatre, with fewer props, just like in the "sheets and flashlights"
days of the 70s and 80s ROCKY showings! These shows are a LOT of fun, so don't
miss it!

SATURDAY MAY 9th in honor of Mothers' Day we present BRING YOUR PARENTS TO ROCKY
NIGHT! Maybe Mom & Dad used to go to ROCKY or maybe they have been afriad to!
Either way this is a great chance for them to see what the show's all
about...and don't worry, we promise, we WON'T be on our best behaviour!

Show seats at 11pm both nights, begins at 11:30 and gets out between 2am and
2:30am. Admission is $6.50 per person (cash only). ROCKY HORROR deals with
MATURE subject matter in an IMMATURE way, and is not recommended for the easily

To all on the AZRocky/Chandler Cinemas mailing list,

We lost a member of our family this past weekend—Kelly Subucco, aka "The Sarge".
He left us at 5:30am on Saturday, March 7th, 2009. He was 41. He leaves behind
his mother Nancy and a daughter, Jonna-Rae.

He was the one-man "Brute Squad" for ROCKY HORROR security, a lifelong fixture
at Phoenix-area science fiction conventions and other fandom events (SCA,
Corsairs, etc), the guy who provided all the free posters at Chandler Cinemas,
and the man who had not paid to see a movie in almost ten years (because he
always saw the sneak previews!). He was a true comrade, a gentle giant, and a
gentleman.

His mother is not planning any services, but has given her blessing for his
friends to do so. So we will be hosting a memorial service for him at Chandler
Cinemas next Friday night at 8pm. The memorial will be free; all ages may
attend. His mother will be in attendance. Further details at the end of this
message.

As his mother is on a fixed income and his passing (including the interment
costs) will be a great hardship for her, we will be taking up a collection to
help her in this difficult time. We will also have some of his belongings
available for sale. The Mardi Gras ROCKY HORROR performance following the
service will be dedicated to his memory (which I'm sure is making him smile,
wherever he is), and a portion of the proceeds will also be given to his mother.
Others are planning a car wash to raise money to help her out.

He will be missed and mourned by so many of us, in all the different social
scenes that he moved within—and which he helped network between, and glue
together. Wherever you knew him from—ROCKY, conventions, movie premieres—I would
like to invite everyone to be there. I can think of no better tribute than to
bring together all his friends, from all his many social circles, in one place,
in his memory.

late Rudy Turk, curator ASU Nelson Fine Arts Museum, and a truly
inspired arts provocateur.

the years EXOTIC has become the largest single fundraiser for the small
independent downtown arts organization, likened to the ballet’s
“Nutcracker.”

day. We're doing everything (dressing room prep, grounds clean-up, event set up,
& more). Tuesday afternoon we start @ 2pm @ The Alwun House 1204 E Roosevelt
(Phoenix). The rest of the week, this weekend, & next week we need help from

Final Repo! Road Tour Stop with Darren, Graverobber & BILL MOSELEY!

The third and final ROAD TOUR for REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA makes its
third and final stop in the Valley this Friday night, January 23rd, in
celebration of the film's release on DVD Join us at Chandler Cinemas
with Director DARREN LYNN BOUSMAN (Repo!, Saw 2, 3 & 4), actor Bill
Moseley ("Luigi" in Repo!, also from House of 1000 Corpses and The
Devil's Rejects) and TERRANCE ZDUNICH (Repo!'s composer and co-writer
as well as "Graverobber" in the film). All three will introduce the
film, do a Q&A after the 9pm screening, and a signing after both!

The event will also feature Repo! Karaoke, Repo! Trivia, live
Repo!-themed musical numbers, and Repo! costume contests including
HOTTEST GENTURN! And we HOPE to be announcing some MAJOR Repo! news
(including the dates for our upcoming LIVE Repo! shadowcasts.)
